The History of the Camino, from medieval times to today – a 3 hour workshop on the fascinating history of the Camino de Santiago and the nature of pilgrimage. Explore the historical, religious, political and cultural beginnings of the Way of St James and the medieval pilgrims who walked it. Find out how the Camino is breathing life back into the towns and villages of Northern Spain.

Food of the Camino - the Camino de Santiago is a historic pilgrimage from the Basque country to Galicia in North West Spain. Join Angela Nicolettou at her cooking school 'Angela's Kitchen' for a hands-on class where you will cook recipes including those featured in Karen Manwarings' book A Slow Walk Across Spain. Then sit down to a meal and glass of Spanish wine where conversation will include 'all things Camino'.
